Leadership Essentials

Today's dynamic financial services landscape is characterised by rapid technological advancements, shifting consumer behaviours, and a constantly evolving regulatory environment. Now more than ever, leadership and management skills are essential for helping individuals advance their careers and support their organisations to navigate these disruptions and challenges effectively.

This seven-week programme aims to develop the financial services leaders of tomorrow. It considers the latest industry trends across the Asset, Consumer and Motor Finance sectors and transforms this into a learning and development programme designed specifically for professionals working in the industry today.

The programme consists of five weekly virtual sessions and concludes with a final assessment. Attendees will also receive a one-hour 1-1 coaching session with an expert performance coach. You’ll identify and develop the key skills and attributes required to manage and lead teams effectively and work with your coach to identify areas for ongoing professional development.

• Professionals working across all functions (including Commercial, Risk, Compliance, Legal, HR, Marketing and Operations).
• Those aspiring to management and leadership positions.
• Managers and team leaders

Duration: 5 x 3-hour sessions plus 1-hour coaching session delivered over 7 weeks

Insights Discovery
Participants will complete an online Insights Discovery personality profile and gain impactful insights to understand themselves, understand others, and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace. 

1-1   Coaching

Following the programme participants will have a one-hour session with an experienced coach. The coach will support participants to apply learning and identify areas for ongoing professional development and career advancement.

FLA Digital Credential

Following successful completion of this programme, delegates will be awarded an FLA digital credential – an online certificate and open badge that are externally verifiable and easily shareable on platforms like LinkedIn with just one click. This provides enhanced visibility of their skills and expertise and external validation of their achievements.
