Following the successful Pre-AGM Discussion Forum, the FLA will be hosting a similar event this year. The topic for discussion will be Life after the Election. A panel of experts will give their views on the finance sector after the General Election. As finance companies look to an economic recovery, they face significant changes to the regulatory environment and the challenge of building a sustainable economy. This is set against the backdrop of a new Parliamentary term, which will bring an intake of new MPs, a newly appointed Cabinet and potentially new party in Government. Join us on what looks likely to be Election Day for what promises to be a lively debate.
The AGM sets out all our achievements for the year and will be of interest not only to full members and associates, but also to companies yet to join. You would be very welcome to bring a guest and join us for a lunch afterwards to hear from our guest speaker, David Cracknell, former Political Editor of the Sunday Times.
