FLA responds to FSA's announcement of a further PPI consultation
Responding to the Financial Services Authority’s (FSA) further consultation on PPI complaint handling, Fiona Hoyle, Head of Consumer Finance at the Finance & Leasing Association, said:
“The FSA recognize that they significantly underestimated the potential impact of their original proposals. We will look carefully at what they now propose, and at their more detailed costings. The aim should be to ensure that inappropriate retrospective regulation, and unintended adverse consequences for consumer credit customers, are both avoided.”
