Asset

At the start of July, our asset finance statistics were used in an article in the Financial Times.

We have also had positive coverage in the Hull Daily Mail, the East Riding Gazette, as well featured articles in sector-specific trade press – The Photographer, Vending International and Bodyshop – showing how asset finance can help different sectors.

Consumer

In June, our consumer figures were reported by the Daily Mail, reporting store card spending was down compared with the previous year.

There has been some focus in the last two months on the payday loans sector, the FLA has commented to the Independent, Western Mail and Credit Today, amongst others. We also commented on payday loans separately to guardian.co.uk.

Motor

The Daily Mirror and the Daily Record covered our motor finance fraud figures at the start of July. And a case study with the FLA highlighting the importance of checking used cars for finance appeared at the end of July in the Nottingham Evening Post and the Mansfield People. What Car? also did a feature article on our advice in their June edition.

Crushwatch, the FLA collaboration with HPI to stop cars on finance from being crushed, was featured in the Swindon Advertiser.
