FLA Skills and Development Courses
All bookings are subject to the following conditions:
Fees
All fees must be paid before the delivery date of the event.
Fees include breakfast, lunch, refreshments and course literature.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing.
Any cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the commencement of the course will incur an administration charge of £70.00+VAT per delegate. For any cancellations between 15-30 days there is a charge of 50% of the course fee in addition to the administration charge. No refund is given for cancellations made 14 days or less before the commencement of a particular course.
Transferring from one course to another is treated as a cancellation.
You can substitute one delegate for another at no additional cost. If you would like to do this, please let us know in writing before noon on the business day prior to the start of the course.
Allocation of places on the courses
The courses are primarily planned for Full Members and Associate Members of the FLA and places are allocated on first come first served basis. However, the allocation is subject to any one company not sending an overwhelming number of delegates on any one course. Generally, the limit is four delegates from any one company. The FLA therefore reserves the right to make allocations accordingly.
All allocations should be made using an FLA training course application form. Joining instructions will sent out approximately two weeks before the start of the course. Invoices are sent upon receipt of a completed application form.
We welcome course applications from non-member companies. Course spaces will be allocated where possible.
In-House Training

Once the in house training course has been confirmed in writing the member will be invoiced for 50% of the agreed course price which must be paid before the course date. The balance, together with all trainers’ expenses will be invoiced after the course has taken place.

Once the in house training course has been confirmed in writing the non-member will be invoiced for 75% of the agreed course price which must be paid before the course date. The balance, together with all trainers’ expenses will be invoiced after the course has taken place.
