Business Information

Welcome to the business information pages.

In this section of the website, you will find information explaining who we are – the UK’s leading trade body for firms providing asset finance – and material to help you decide whether this type of funding would be suitable for your business.

Asset finance is funding used to obtain equipment – tangible assets from office phones to manufacturing plants, cars to fleets of aircraft.

It is the third most common source of finance for businesses, after bank overdrafts and loans, and provides significant cash flow and tax benefits for those using it.

Alternatively, you may have a query about the FLA’s Business Finance Code, which sets out the high standards we expect from our members in their dealings with all customers.

We also provide a conciliation service for customers with complaints against members. This means we will liaise between both parties in an effort to resolve the issue but we cannot award compensation or enforce a decision about your case.
