Prior to being part of the team that set up Invigors in 2005 George spent over 20 years with HSBC, concentrating primarily on tax, accounting, regulatory and pricing in leasing, HP and invoice finance markets, before taking on wider responsibilities as Head of Tax and Technical Support for HSBC’s UK Corporate and Commercial Banking Divisions. George is a member of the FLA’s tax & accounting and VAT committees. He is also editor of the Equipment Leasing section of a major UK tax reference work and contributes to industry publications.
